  • For birds migrating between breeding grounds throughout North America and wintering grounds in the Southern U.S., Latin America, and the Caribbean, migratory stopover sites offer a safe refuge to rest and refuel before continuing on the next stage of their journey. Sometimes they spend more time at these sites than they do flying! Our volunteer docents lead a day of activity focused on these fascinating birds – like Osprey and Broad Winged Hawks that spend some of their Spring and Fall in the Carolinas, but are off to warmer climets for the winter. FREE with Regular Admission.
