Davidson Pizza Company has opened a takeout shop in a small storefront at 300 Mock Road, on Davidson’s west side. That’s next door to the Ada Jenkins Center. They’ll be selling slices and pizzas by day, full pies at night. Their thin-crust New York-style pizzas will be $13-$19. They’ll also sell stromboli, calzones, salads, garlic knots, heroes and wings. “We make everything fresh – pizza dough, sauce, everything’s made on site,” Mr. Adams said. Adams is an executive with Davidson-based Hawthorne Holding Group, which owns a network of Hawthorne’s New York Pizza & Bars, the Loco Lime Mexican grills, and Kickstand burger bars around the region. Hours will Sundays to Thursdays, 11am to 9pm, Fridays and Saturdays, 11am-11pm
