Visit Lake Norman DNC Marketing Plan Update:
Visit Lake Norman (VLN) is working to promote local businesses and attractions in the Lake Norman region and the towns of Cornelius, Davidson, and Huntersville. VLN is currently working on Phase II of our DNC Marketing Plan implementation which includes printed themed maps, monthly press releases, securing targeted advertising placements, and working with VLN's hospitality partners to plan events for convention week. DNC Contracted Hotels in Lake Norman Area (Cornelius, Davidson, and Huntersville):
- VLN has worked with the DNC Committee to secure 12 hotels in Cornelius, Huntersville, and Davidson for a total of 11,981 room nights committed. To view the contracted hotel go to VLN's DNC Visitor Page.
- State Delegation representatives are currently touring the contracted DNC hotels and surrounding areas. Delegation placement begins in January 2012.
