Visit Lake Norman is pleased to announce that two (2) national fishing tournaments will call Lake Norman home. The first of which is the National Bass Circuit's inaugural 2008 NBC TOUR Championship held July 18-19, 2008 from Blythe Landing in Huntersville. The 2009 event details TBA.

• The National Bass Circuit has agreed to have Visit Lake Norman as one of their national sponsors.
• The National Bass Circuit bass boat will include Visit Lake Norman's logo in addition to being on the tournament directors' professional competition angler shirt.
• National exposure throughout the pro angler tournament series for Visit Lake Norman and the Lake Norman region.
