Meetings are held on the third Monday of every other month. Note: If that Monday is a recognized holiday, the meeting will be the following Monday. If an additional meeting is needed, notice will be provided in advance.FY2013 (July 1, 2012-June 30, 2013)

The 18-Member Board of Directors provides leadership and guidance to Executive Director; whom reports directly to the Board. The Board of Directors is comprised of business community leaders from the towns of Cornelius, Davidson, and Huntersville, including hotel representatives, restaurant/attractions representatives, and appointed elected town officials from the towns of Cornelius, Davidson, and Huntersville. Board members are appointed by each town and Visit Lake Norman in accordance to our bylaws.
Visit Lake Norman is primarily funded through the local hotel occupancy tax (28%) and prepared food and beverage tax (25%) per the NC General Statute S.L. 2011-160; House Bill 508 (June 14, 2011). This is a levied tax and is distributed from each of the towns of Cornelius, Davidson, and Huntersville to Visit Lake Norman for fulfilling its purpose through destination marketing.
