Making Waves Hospitality Awards

Along with hotels, so many other hospitality industry businesses contribute to the destination that is Lake Norman. This awards program recognizes the very best across all of Lake Norman’s hospitality industry including awards for hotels, restaurants, venues, events and an individual unsung hospitality hero.

 

Congratulations to the 2019 Hospitality Award Winners!

The three hotel award category winners are James Pryor, Weekend Front Desk Manager for the Hampton Inn Lake Norman in Cornelius for the guest service representative category, Erin Hewitt, Director of Sales for the Country Inn & Suites in Huntersville for the sales category and Alicia Fisher, General Manager of the Hampton Inn Lake Norman in Cornelius for the management category.    

Additional award winners include Port City Club for restaurant of the year, the Junior Volleyball Association Challenge, youth volleyball tournament for event of the year and Carolina Grace, the largest private yacht in the Carolinas for venue of the year. 

The John Kurti Unsung Hospitality Hero category award winner recognizes an individual that goes above and beyond to make Lake Norman a great destination and was awarded to Greg Llewellyn, Visitor Services Associate with the Carolina Raptor Center.
