Enjoy a day on the water cruising down the lake with one of Lake Norman's premier boat rental companies. Whether you are alone, or with family, it is nice to be able to relax and have a splash in the sun.

77  Water Sports is a tritoon boat rental company that sits up to 10 as well as offers tube rentals and provides life jackets with each reservation.

Carolina Boat Rentals offers pontoon and Waverunner rentals. They also offer pontoon and regal powerboat tours.

Carolina Cruising Charters provides captained tours on a luxury pontoon or a 13-person ultimate pontoon. If you want to do some watersports they offer a brand new Wake Boat that includes Wakeboarding, Wake surfing, and Tubing along with all the new top-of-the-line equipment

Cornelius Pontoon Rentals offers pontoon boat rentals with gas, a cooler of ice, bottled water, snacks, and water noodles provided with every reservation. Limited 8 people on board. Captained boat rentals are also available if booked in advance.

Lake Norman Sailing Charters provides sailboat charters during the day or evening with a maximum of 6 guests. Snacks and beverages are permitted with the exception of red wine. Anchoring in a quiet cove for dinner or swimming is also an option.

Party Pontoon provides several different options throughout the day to fit your needs of a captained boat out on the lake. Whether it is a sunset cruise, lakeside bar hopping or just some fun out on the lake with your friends,  Party Pontoon has you covered.

Kayaking and Paddleboarding

Kayaking and Paddleboards are a fun activity the whole family can enjoy!

Long Island Paddle Sports offers a variety of kayaks, paddle boards, and canoes. Sit-on-top kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, fishing kayaks, tandem kayaks, and canoes are all available for rent. 

What's Up Watersports offers paddleboard and kayak rentals for those looking to get an amazing workout or go for a leisurely paddle and enjoy the scenery. They also offer jet ski and boat rentals to fit all your watersport needs! 

Mountain Island Lake Paddle Co. offers paddleboard and kayak rentals Friday-Sunday for an amazing day out on the lake. To make it easy, they will drop off your equipment at Latta Nature Preserve's Gar Creek Kayak launch area so you can be certain of a stress-free day!  They also offer different SUPs and Kayaks to fit the users whether they are youth, a beginner or a veteran.  

Moose Paddleboard Company offers Paddleboards you can rent, and they will take the stress off of you and bring them to you so you can enjoy a fun and stress-free day out on the lake. 


Waterfront Parks

Latta Nature Preserve offers a free kayak launch with an ADA-compliant ramp. Numerous fishing opportunities are available including a fishing dock. Anglers 16 years and older must have an NC State Fishing License. Fishing rods are also available to rent at the Quest Center with bait for sale at the gift shop.

Ramsey Creek Park is open seven days a week, with the swimming beach open Wednesday - Sunday, 12 to 6pm starting after Memorial Day. While parking is limited a free shuttle is available on holiday weekends at Northcross Park and Ride in Huntersville (17126 Northcross Drive). During the season there is a $5 fee to access the beach for adults but a $3 fee for children ages 6-13. 

Jetton Park and Blythe Landing Park are open and ready to allow visitors to experience the beauty of the lakeside. These parks offer some of the best views and access to the lake you will find in the area. Jetton Park offers a tanning beach where you can enjoy a relaxing day at the beach without the swimming. Blythe Landing offers floating piers and boat launch locations, so you are seconds away from your next adventure on the water.

Fish On! LN Fishing Guide Services provides captained fishing excursions around Lake Norman. Captain Craig is a master rated USCG licensed captain, fully insured, and trained in first aid/CPR. He enjoys showing his anglers when, where, and how to catch them all.
