The Ada Jenkins Center will be hosting their 2nd Annual Food Fight on Saturday, October 6th, 2018! The fundraiser features a competition of local restaurants and a few daring home cooks each vying for the “Best Of” in their chosen category which includes Mac-N-Cheese, BBQ and Dessert! Event will feature samples from all competitors, beer from Primal Brewery, a photo booth, and live music from Rusty Knox. Food Fight will again be held at the historic Ada Jenkins Centers located at 212 Gamble Street, Davidson.
Adults: $20 before September 6th and $25 beginning September 7th.
Kids: $5 (age 14yrs and under)
Tickets include entrance to event, samplings from each competitor and 2 beverage tickets*.
*Adult beverage tickets may be used towards beer or non-alcoholic beverages. Kids tickets are valid for non-alcoholic beverages only.
Funds raised will ensure core services such the Center’s free medical clinic, free mobile dental clinic, food pantry, case management, financial assistance, workforce development and housing, and education services for adults and children will continue to serve those in need. The Ada Jenkins Center has a track record of stretching funds to ensure this mix of comprehensive services remains available to the residents of Davidson, Cornelius, and Huntersville.
