Do you want to see more birds, help the environment and keep pest populations in your garden down? Make a gourd birdhouse with us at Blackberry Ridge Farm!

Here you'll learn from your local farmers how to transform a gourd into a bird house that is sure to be loved by your backyard buddies! Using hard shell gourds grown and dried right here on the farm, we'll clean and pre-cut holes for backyard birds. Learn about some of the local cavity nesting birds that might move in! Then, make your birdhouse truly unique with paint, ink, stamps & découpage. We'll apply a sealer when you're done to complete your creation.

Enjoy a reading of a bird-themed children's book while taking in the scenery on the farm. Then, take home your own gourd seeds to grow at home!

Lemonade & water provided. You may bring your own snacks/drinks to this event. Also included is a tour of Blackberry Ridge Farm.

This event is for all ages. No experience needed! Just be ready to have fun and try something new!

BRF Events are held rain or shine. Ticket sales are non-refundable, but are transferable to another attendee. See you on the farm!
