American Academy of Applied Forensics at CPCC

Have you ever wondered what it is like to be a Crime Scene Investigator (CSI)?

Visit the American Academy of Applied Forensics at CPCC!

You'll participate in hands on demonstrations and take a tour of our state-of-the-art facility, learning the same methods that real investigators use in forensics laboratory and crime scene processing. You'll use shooting reconstruction lasers, Bluestar blood reagent and dust for fingerprints, magnetic powder and wands to lift your fingerprints, and more! Our instructors include Police Officers, former Federal Agents, and Forensic Scientists.

  • Approximate Length of Experience: 2-8 hours
  • Minimum/Maximum Number of Participants: Min: 10 Max: 125
  • Tours and demonstration dates are limited to facility availability and are scheduled upon request. They often run on weekdays from October 1 through April 30.
