  • Lake Norman Community Sailing is a non-profit organization offering classes and memberships to provide access to Lake Norman for recreational sailing, kayaking and paddleboarding. We offer 12 Month Memberships for individuals and families with 365-day, sunrise to sunset access to our equipment, dock and clubhouse. Join one of our Learn to Sail classes offered April – November and fall in love with sailing. Ever want to charter a boat on vacation? Start with our ASA 101 Basic Keelboat certification classes offered year-round to learn the basics of keelboat sailing and systems. Don’t have a paddleboard or a kayak to get out on the lake? Become a member and use ours. We offer all the perks of lake life without the hassle of ownership. As a 501 (c) (3) we accept donated boats in usable condition. You will receive the fair market value as a lawful IRS deduction. Call the office today and get out on the lake!

    • Description We can also design a rowing program forcing up to eight people to work together in 60’ shells. A two boat 16 person maximum works best. Please help us get the word out. These programs can easily be run weekdays this fall and they will be effective and affordable.
