Visit Lake Norman (VLN) Celebrates NC Beer Month Cornelius, Davidson, & Huntersville, NC – Throughout the month of April, destination marketing organizations and breweries will be working together in promoting the burgeoning craft beer scene throughout the state. There are more than 200 craft breweries and brewpubs throughout the state (and growing) and more than 100 are participating in NC Beer Month. For NC beer events, venues and promotion details, visit ncbeermonth.com. VLN celebrates the Lake Norman tap into craft movement during the month of April. The celebration begins with a contest to encourage and enhance craft beer industry awareness through social media surrounding #LKNbeer.
This year get a chance to win weekly prizes via social media using the hashtag #LKNbeer and tag @VisitLakeNorman to be entered. Weekly prizes include North Carolina Brewers & Music Festival tickets at Rural Hill, restaurant gift cards to Port City Club and Brickhouse Tavern, pint glasses, and an assortment of other brewery gifts. Anyone interested to enter must be at least 21 years old to win the prizes. To increase prize winning chances, VLN will be seeking beer related photo posts from any of the North Mecklenburg breweries and brewpubs as well as use of any VLN beer promotional items. After the month of April, monthly prizes will extend throughout the year to continue using hashtag #LKNbeer and tag @VisitLakeNorman to be entered.
