Boat & Jet Ski Rentals

Novice or expert, explore the wide open waters and soak in the sun

Lake Norman is rich in things to do on the water, but the best way to enjoy the lake, of course, is to rent a watercraft while you're in the area. If you don't have a boaters license, don't worry. There are places like Carolina Boat Rentals and Cornelius Pontoon Rentals that offer captained rentals. With over 520 miles of shoreline, there are many places to rent boats, jet skis, paddle boards and more, so check out the listings below and contact the businesses directly for pricing and booking. There is a high demand during the peak summer season so we recommend planning ahead. Some boating activities do require a boating class.

For your safety, life jackets are required for ALL boats and jet skis.

Any person born after January 1, 1988 must successfully complete a NASBLA approved boating education course before operating any vessel propelled by a motor of 10HP or greater. You can find out more on the North Carolina Wildlife Resource Commission website for the regulation: G.S. 75A-16.2.
