Boat & Jet Ski Rentals

The Lake Norman area is rich in things to do on the water! The best way to enjoy the lake, of course, is to rent a boat or jet ski while you're in the area. If you don't have a boaters license, don't worry. There are places like Carolina Boat Rentals and Cornelius Pontoon Rentals that offer captained rentals. With over 520 miles of shoreline, there are many places to rent a boat or jet ski, so check out the listings below and contact the businesses directly for pricing and booking. There is a high demand during the peak summer season so we recommend planning ahead. Some boating activities do require a boating class.

For your safety, life jackets are required for ALL boats and jet skis.

As of May 1, 2010 any person under the age of 26 must successfully complete a NASBLA approved boating education course before operating any vessel propelled by a motor of 10HP or greater. You can find out more on the North Carolina Wildlife Resource Commission website for the new regulation: G.S. 75A-16.2.
