This event is a celebration of Scottish culture and heritage.
The two-day event features competitions and attractions
like clachneart throwing, turning of the caber, hammer
tossing, highland dancing, battle axe contests, kilt races, bagpipes, whisky seminars, traditional Scottish folk
music, and authentic fare and libations.
Purina Bark in the Park Top Dog Festival is a free event.
Bring your pooch and enjoy a fun-filled day of contests,
vendors, food and much more! The Top Dog Festival
features several contests for humans and dogs.
The Asian Festival is held at Ramsey Creek Park
and is an annual family-oriented event for the Asian
and non-Asian community throughout the Carolinas.
The festival celebrates Asian cultures, diversity,
ethnicity, roots and history.
Throughout the year, Latta Plantation in Huntersville, NC
holds reenactments from a number of different battle and

The Charlotte Symphony Orchestra
Founded in 1932, the Charlotte Symphony is the largest and most active professional performing arts organization in the central Carolinas, giving nearly 70 performances each season and reaching an annual attendance of 130,000 listeners.
Warrior Dash is the world's largest obstacle race series,
held on the most rugged terrain in more than 50 locations
across the globe. Participants earn their Warrior helmet by tackling a fierce 3-4 mile course and 12 extreme obstacles.
After conquering the Battleground, Warriors celebrate with
turkey legs, beersteins,and live music at a post-race party!
Fourth of July Celebrations
Lake Norman is THE place to be for the 4th of July!
From cookouts, to watching fireworks on the lake, it is
sure to be a great time! For more detailed information on

two miles of interconnecting paths. One of the largest in
the Southeast, the maze is sure to please! Looking for an
even bigger challenge? Traverse the maze in the dark
during one of the famous Friday Night Mazes!
The Renaissance Festival is a 16th century European style
art and entertainment festival combining outdoor theater,
circus entertainment, arts and crafts marketplace, a jousting tournament, a feast fit for royalty, and much, much more.
Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch, Matt Kenseth, Elliott Sadler,
and part time Nationwide Series drivers will be signing autographs throughout the day. In order to receive an
autograph, you must have a wristband for each respective
driver. Beginning at 8am, 300 wristbands for each driver
will be distributed in separate lines.
