Get ready to get back out of the house this 4th of July! With many businesses opening to full capacity, events are back on for Independence Day 2021. Here are some exciting celebrations going on around Lake Norman and the surrounding area.

Bailey Road Park | More Details
Head to Bailey Road Park for the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra. A chance to celebrate America with fireworks immediately following the performance. The doors open at 6 pm and the Orchestra begins at 8:30 pm. Make sure to bring your lawn chairs and blankets!

Truist Field | More Details
Celebrate America at Truist Field in Uptown Charlotte. The symphony will be playing many different songs that celebrate our country including the "Star Spangled Banner" to open up the night. Fireworks will cap off the evening, so be sure to reserve your spot. Ticket information is available on the website in the link provided.

East Lincoln High School - Denver, NC | More Details
Catch fireworks and a celebration of America with live music. Craig Campbell will be performing. Doors open at 4pm and live music begins at 5pm.

July 3: Breaking Point Band on the Patio 6-9pm; then grab a spot on the lawn for Fireworks by the lake 9:30pm

US National Whitewater Center - Charlotte, NC | More Details
All kinds of 4th of July events are going on at the Whitewater Center. Events will start on July 3rd and go until July 4th. There will be live music starting at 8pm and fireworks beginning at 9:30pm. All of this is free to the public.

The Peninsula Club is holding a private Fourth of July event with fireworks that can be seen by boaters and the crowds that park along Jetton Road.

Run White & Blue is a run hosted in Huntersville, NC this July 4th. They have many different running options including 7.4 Kilometer, 7.4 Miler, Fun Run (1.76 mile), and a virtual option as well. There is an entry fee, and the race is from 7:30am to 11am.

There are no fireworks in Davidson, but residents are invited to celebrate our nation’s independence with a patriotic stroll along South Street to the town green and a concert on the green on Sunday, July 4. The parade will include a color guard, a fire engine, and lots of patriotic residents.
