The Lifespan of a Fact (April 9–26)
This sharply contemporary play dives straight into the gray area between truth and storytelling. When a meticulous fact-checker squares off with a celebrated essayist over a piece destined for publication, sparks fly, and so do the questions. What is truth? What responsibility do writers hold? And who decides what’s “accurate enough”? Fast-paced, funny, and intellectually charged, The Lifespan of a Fact brings modern media ethics to the stage in unforgettable fashion.
Evita (June 17–28)
Summer heats up at the Duke Family Performance Hall with the sweeping musical Evita, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s iconic portrait of Eva Perón’s rise to fame and influence.
