Robbins Park

Take an adventure to the treehouse-themed playground at Robbins Park for a woodland experience! A comfortable but energizing spot for families, the well-shaded playground is complete with nearby restrooms, a water fountain, and benches. Located in a natural setting, it's a popular weekend spot for children ages 5-12. 

 
Ramsey Creek Park

18441 Nantz Rd, Cornelius

Not only does Ramsey Creek Park have an engaging playground for kids, but it's also conveniently close to the dog park and swimming beach access (open Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day), making it a full day of fun for the family! Get to climbing with the various slides, towers, and swings the playground provides, as well as a 20ft kiddie zipline.

Located in the heart of Cornelius, Legion Park has a recently renovated playground that is both compliant with ADA standards and offers a safe space for kids to have fun! Close to the shelter, the playground has benches and multi-level climbing surfaces, as well as a twisty slide.

Plum Creek Park

At Plum Creek Park, you'll find multiple recreational courts, including new dedicated pickle ball courts expected to finish soon! The playground is conveniently located in the center of the park's amenities, offering a multi-surface platform, as well as swings and slides.

Holbrook Park

There are two tree-shaded playgrounds at Holbrook Park! For younger tots and toddlers, there is a smaller, inspiring play area, then a more adventurous structure for older kids. Featuring slides, swings, and climbing towers, this park combines safari-style imagination with musical features! 

 
North Mecklenburg Park

North Mecklenburg Park is home to two playgrounds more suited for younger kids, close to pre-school and elementary age. Complete with a padded surface for safety, a sandbox for imagination, and climbing structures to inspire active play! 

 
Rosedale Nature Park

9519 Rosewood Meadow Ln, Huntersville

Creativity meets the woods at Rosedale Nature Park, great for children 4 and up! The playground offers two ziplines, a merry-go-round, and climbing elements for kids to explore and immerse themselves in the nature and creativity of the park. Families can bring pets to the dog park nearby and have a picnic by the spinning nature house.
