Ride Wake & Surf Co offers flexible hourly charters throughout both peak season (May–September) and the off-season, allowing guests to book anywhere from one to six hours on the water. For groups of four to five people, the three-hour half-day charter is often the perfect balance of ride time, instruction, and relaxation. We had an incredible time out on Lake Norman with Ride Wake & Surf Co. We were accompanied by our captain, Martin, and trainer, Wyatt. They were absolutely phenomenal and incredibly helpful while teaching us how to ride on the water.
I hadn't been wakeboarding since I was 12, so I was naturally a little nervous. Luckily, with encouraging words from Martin and a few helpful tips from Wyatt, I was able to get up on the board in no time.
It didn't stop there, though. We also brought out the surfboard to ride some epic waves and capture some great pictures. After that, we finished the day with a fun ride on an inflatable tube.
Overall, we had an amazing time and an unforgettable experience on the water.

My love for the water reached a new level after this outing with Ride, Wake & Surf Co. While I was nervous at first, the instructors were patient, encouraging, and made every activity feel approachable. They took the time to explain each step, offer helpful tips, and cheer everyone on throughout the experience, which quickly helped build my confidence.
One of the highlights of the day was successfully wake surfing for the first time. It was a rewarding accomplishment and a moment I will always remember. There is nothing quite like finally finding your balance and riding the wave after several attempts. Between activities, it was relaxing to cruise across Lake Norman, enjoy the scenery, listen to music, and take in the experience from the water. The lake was the perfect temperature, making every moment on and in the water even more enjoyable.

We had an unforgettable day out on the water with Ride Wake & Surf Co! Our captains Martin and Kyle were the best—totally open to how we wanted to spend our time and made sure every moment was packed with fun. From wakesurfing and tubing to cruising on their stunning new pontoon boat, the whole experience was top-notch. As someone who is a novice to watersports, I was a little nervous, but Martin’s guidance and encouragement helped me get up on the board right away. Their patience and positivity made all the difference. Plus, their brand-new pontoon boat was absolutely gorgeous—spotless, spacious, and the perfect place to relax between activities.

I had so much fun with Ride Wake & Surf Co! This was my very first experience with watersports, and I couldn't have asked for a better crew. Martin and Wyatt provided excellent instruction and helpful tips for both wakeboarding and wakesurfing. As a beginner, I had no idea what I was doing, so their guidance and constant encouragement made a huge difference.
We started with wakeboarding, which was definitely my favorite part of the day. Thanks to Wyatt's coaching, I was able to stand up on the board for a few seconds! With a few more sessions, I'm confident I'll be riding the wake with ease. Wakesurfing was just as enjoyable, and we wrapped up the day with a ride on the tube, which was an absolute blast.
