A charming event full of warm drinks, shopping, family, friends and everything to get you in the holiday spirit. Additional popular celebrations include Huntersville Christmas, North Mecklenburg Christmas Parade and Light Up Cornelius.

Events are held all throughout the month that will keep the calendars full of exciting things to do with the family. See the sparkling lights reflect off of the glistening lake waters at the Lighted Boat Parade or the arrival of Santa at Birkdale Village’s Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. Games, food, vendor displays and live entertainment offer something for everyone. If performing arts is what you want, then head to Armour Street Theatre in Davidson for holiday performances by the Davidson Community Players.

Local attractions celebrate the holidays such as the One Hundred Years of Christmas event and the Candlelight Christmas at Historic Latta Plantation. Craft breweries also join in the holiday fun with special gatherings and annual holiday themed brew tours.

You can count on decking the halls with winter wonderland events all around the lake.
