Coral Sushi

Coral Sushi provides a wide array of traditional dishes from hibachi and sashimi to homemade noodles and Chinese stir fry. They have drink specials from Sunday-Thursday including discounts on bottles of wines and domestic and imported beer. They have a featured roll called the Holly Jolly Roll which is filled with shrimp tempura, spicy crab, cream cheese and topped with avocado, peanuts, and the chef's special sauce.

Daniel San

Veteran-owned and operated, Daniel San is located in downtown Cornelius. With an all-weather patio and great sushi, you'll consider this a hidden gem. Owner, Paolo, has more than 20 years of restaurant experience and served as a combat medic in Iraq in his earlier years. Business partner, Domino, has more than 10 years of food industry experience and worked for the largest international food company in the Philippines, Jollibee. They offer a Lunchbox deal where you can get tempura shrimp and veggies along with your choice of rice and seaweed or smoked squid. It travels well and makes for a great lunch!

eeZ Fusion & Sushi

Located in Birkdale Village and an eatery with a touch of classic Asian culture, eeZ Fusion is the perfect spot for gathering with friends, a family outing or a special date night. Master Sushi Chef Rifali Almunir's creations are not only delicious but beautifully presented when brought to your table. Sushi is made from antibiotic-free and all-natural meats from sustainably fresh caught seafood. For those who don't eat fish, you can build out your very own roll. You can even try making their lettuce wraps on your own by following the recipe they provided us or giving them a visit!

Fusion 108

Fusion 108 is a well-known Chinese restaurant in Huntersville. It has become one of the town's popular places to enjoy Chinese cuisine which features classic dishes with a modern twist using fresh ingredients. Their Teriyaki Bento Box is served with edamame, salad, crab rangoons, and your choice of rice. We also recommend checking out their vegetarian entrees if you're looking for delicious tofu food.

Huang's China Bistro

Huang's China Bistro

Locally-owned, Huang's is a great spot to consider the next time you want to order Chinese takeout. With generous portions and friendly service, this place is a must-try. Their Sweet & Sour Chicken is served lightly crispy on the outside and the chicken is pouring with flavor as soon as you take a bite. Huang's is also one of the few places in the area that lets you get soup as a side. Select from their Egg Drop, Wonton, Hot Sour, or Clear Soup

Kabuto Japanese Steak House

If you're looking for a place where the hibachi chefs prepare your food in front of you, then Kabuto is your spot. Their chefs put on a show making this an ideal spot for date night or family night with the little kiddos. Their menu offers delicately seasoned entrees, clear onion soup, stir fry veggies, and Chef's fried rice that are sure to please. Their ingredients are locally sourced and you can enjoy nightly specials including half price bottles of wine.

Kobe Hero

Kobe Hero is another great location to consider for a great show. People who have gone here for years are still amazed of the tricks the chef's perform when preparing your food. Their new menu features Korean BBQ and hibachi entrees as well as sushi and bento boxes. People have shared their portions are bigger than expected, so you'll be getting bang for your buck.

Kung Foo Noodle

One of Birkdale Village's hidden gems is Kung Foo Noodle. It's a sleek Asian-fusion bistro offering sushi, soup, banh mi and bubble teas. For those who are just learning about Asian food, banh mi is the Vietnamese word for bread and usually refers to a small sandwich served in a French baguette with a mixture of meats and vegetables. As soon as you walk in, you'll notice the unique art on the walls and decor hanging from the ceiling.

Sabi Asian Bistro

As Davidson's currently only Asian restaurant, Sabi Asian Bistro offers a menu filled with delicious Chinese, Thai, and Japanese food. Their interior is very neatly decorated and their name says it all - "wabi sabi" means "simply beautiful". For those who are traveling through and staying overnight at the Homewood Suites, Sabi is just across the street from your stay. As an appetizer, we recommend getting their Poke Nachos which comes with tuna, avocado, cilantro, jalapenos, mangos among several other items that make it a very popular item. They offer local canned craft beer including from D9 and a wide selection of sake. Sake is basically a Japanese rice wine, so this is a great opportunity to drink something new!

Thai House

Thai House is conveniently located right off I-77 in Cornelius and close by to Lost Worlds Brewing making it a great spot to order takeout and bring over for a couple beers next door. Just like several of the locations we've previously listed, Thai House offers a generous portion of their rice making it enough to have two meals from one order for some people. Their Namprigpaow is deliciously served with your choice of seasoned meat and stir-fried namprigaow sauce, broccoli, snow pea, carrot, cabbage, bell pepper, and basil leaves.

Thai Emerald

Located at Northcross Shopping Center, Thai Emerald is family-owned restaurant that serves a plethora of spicy soups, noodles, and curries. They offer special Thai beer - giving you a great opportunity to try a new drink. One of their co-owners, Saran, grew up in Thailand but moved to the United States as a foreign exchange student when he was in high school. His team really strives to provide an authentic Thai experience for everyone that walks through their doors.
